6-Axis Motion Simulating Platform
The 6 degree of freedom motion simulation platform system is composed of 6 degree of freedom motion platform (by Stewart mechanism), computer control system and drive system. The lower platform of the 6-DOF motion platform is installed on the ground, and the upper platform is the motion platform. It is supported by 6 electric cylinders. The moving platform and the electric cylinders are connected by 6 Hooke hinges. The electric cylinder and the fixed base are also connected by 6 Hooke hinges. The 6 electric cylinders are servo electric driven cylinders. The computer control system realizes the 6 degrees of freedom movement of the moving platform by coordinating the stroke of the electric cylinders. That is, in Cartesian coordinate system, there are 3 translational motions and rotations around 3 coordinate axes.
